On the Job:

David Bessler, VMD, has been practicing emergency medicine exclusively since 2004 and joined NYC Veterinary Specialists in 2006. He was the director of emergency and critical care at Center for Specialized Veterinary Care from 2004 to 2006.  Prior to entering the field of veterinary medicine, Dr. Bessler was a sergeant in the Israel Defense Forces.

Emergency vet by night, educator by day, Dr. Bessler is the proud founder of Little Vets, which runs veterinary educational programs for elementary school students and their parents.
