On the Job:
Dr. Sobel joined BluePearl in 2011. Prior to this, he spent 10 years in Maryland working as both an emergency doctor and internist. He completed residencies in emergency/critical care and internal medicine, but his professional focus is on internal medicine. His interests include Cushing’s disease, calcium disorders, and hematology. Dr. Sobel took part in the FDA approval of Vetoryl, the only drug approved for treatment of Cushing’s disease, and continues to take part in clinical studies for FDA approval.

Off Duty:
Dr. Sobel spends his free time with his wife Amy, an equine internist, trying to keep up with their two kids’ busy sports schedules. He also keeps a close eye on whatever sports the Gators are playing.
