On the Job:

Kathryn McGonigle, DVM, joined Blue Pearl in 2011. Prior to pursuing her internship and residency, she studied sea turtle populations in the Long Island Sound. After that, she spent four and a half years as a small animal and exotics family veterinarian in southern New Jersey. Having  completed specialty training in small animal internal medicine, she is enjoying the challenges of internal medicine case management.

On the Job:

Kelson Danielson, DVM, joined BluePearl Veterinary Partners in 2011. Prior to joining us, he completed his residency in Small Animal Surgery at the University of Wisconsin where he was awarded the Bayer Small Animal Resident of the Year Award in 2010. Dr. Danielson has undergone extensive training in both orthopedic and soft tissue surgery and has a strong interest in minimally invasive surgery. While in Wisconsin, he volunteered at the local humane society to provide surgical treatment for animals waiting to be adopted.

Dr. Danielson is an avid cyclist and loves to spend his free time on two wheels with his wife Jennifer, whether racing competitively or just cruising around town. When they aren’t on their bicycles, they can usually be found at the park trying to keep their two dogs, Chewy and Pippin, out of the mud.

On the Job:

Jennifer Huck, DVM, joined BluePearl Veterinary Partners in 2011. While she enjoys all aspects of surgery, her areas of interest include surgical oncology and reconstructive surgery, wound management, and laparoscopic procedures.

When not ferreting out New York’s best restaurants, Dr. Huck is hiking, kayaking, baking, or attempting to train her stubborn, but adorable pug, Betty.  Her other furry family members include three cats – Lou, Greta and Thurston.

On the Job:

Jill Abraham, VMD, DACVD, joined BluePearl Veterinary Partners in 2011. Immediately following her residency, she started the Dermatology Service at Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital and worked there as a dermatologist prior to joining BluePearl. She has also served on the Credentials Committee for the American College of Veterinary Dermatology since 2009. She has a special interest in feline dermatology and immune-mediated skin diseases.

Jaclyn Francin, DVM, joined BluePearl Veterinary Partners in 2011.  She has a strong interest in neurology and intends to pursue a residency.

Mariam Kamal, VMD, joined BluePearl Veterinary Partners in 2011.

Elizabeth Goudie, DVM, joined BluePearl Veterinary Partners in 2011. She’s especially interested in pain control in the critical patient.
